How does the usage allowance work?
Every plan ships with a generous monthly allowance — enough to run normal agent workflows without thinking about it. Your dashboard shows the remaining percentage live; we don't surface credit counts because raw numbers don't match how the work actually feels. When you hit 0% on Welcome or Max, requests pause until the monthly reset. Max 5× and Max 20× spill over into the pay-as-you-go wallet instead.
What's the pay-as-you-go wallet (Max 5× / Max 20× plans)?
A dollar balance you fund yourself. After your monthly allowance is used up, each request draws from the wallet at 3× our upstream cost — predictable and capped. Manual top-ups start at $20; opt in to auto-recharge and we keep the wallet topped up whenever it drops below your threshold so long runs never stall.
How is billing handled?
Stripe Checkout for cards (live in production) and a customer portal for upgrades, downgrades, and cancellation. While we polish the in-app checkout flow, email hi@kuzy.ai and we send you a one-click link for any plan.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from Dashboard → Billing — takes effect at the end of the current cycle. Wallet balance you already loaded stays yours.
BYOK — can I bring my own keys?
Yes. BYOK is free — you pay your provider directly and the desktop app runs entirely on your machine. The hosted plans add the gateway, sub-agents, dashboard, and the wallet/auto-recharge billing surface.

Max 20× is the published top tier. For self-hosting, custom egress controls, dedicated support, or volume pricing, email hello@kuzy.ai.
Where does my data live?
Source files, sandbox state, memory, and BYOK keys stay on your machine. Hosted-gateway calls transit our EU servers; we don't persist payloads unless you opt in to debug-history. See /legal/privacy.
What's a sub-agent exactly?
An isolated worker — its own shell, its own filesystem snapshot, its own context window. Big tasks fan out to sub-agents; the orchestrator agent merges the results.
Roll-overs?
Plan allowance resets each month — it doesn't roll over, the math stays simple. Wallet balance on Max 5× / Max 20× plans behaves the opposite way: it stays in your wallet until you spend it and never expires. Heavy month coming? Top up the wallet so the spill-over doesn't need you to upgrade.
