Overview
Kuzy wants billing to be predictable and fair. This policy explains refunds for subscriptions, hosted usage, wallet top-ups, cancellations, failed renewals, and consumer cooling-off rights.
Subscriptions
First paid subscription purchase: users may request a refund within 14 days of the first paid subscription purchase if they are not satisfied.
Renewals: renewal payments are generally non-refundable once a new billing period starts, except where required by law, where the charge was caused by a billing error, or where Kuzy grants a discretionary refund.
Cancellation: cancellation stops future renewals. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period unless a refund is issued for that period.
Wallet and Usage Credits
Unused wallet/top-up balance may be refundable within 30 days of purchase where technically and legally possible. Consumed hosted usage, model costs, compute costs, and third-party pass-through costs are generally non-refundable.
Wallet credits are not cash, stored value, or a bank account. They may only be used for eligible Kuzy hosted usage.
Consumer Rights
If the user is a consumer, mandatory local consumer laws may give rights that cannot be limited by this policy. For UK/EU users, digital service/content rules may affect cancellation and refund rights once performance begins with consent.
How to Request a Refund
Email billing@kuzy.ai with account email, invoice ID if available, purchase date, and a short reason. Kuzy may ask for identity or account verification.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. Stripe and banks may take several business days to process the refund.
Exceptions
Kuzy may deny or reduce refunds for fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, AUP violations, sanctions/export issues, or where the user consumed substantial hosted resources.
